Do I have to reserve a unit online before coming to Route 4 Self Storage?
Yes. Renting a unit online is required for you to gain access to the property. Our agreement is signed online along with all other necessary information.
When can I move-in?
Immediately after you have completed all the rental paperwork and paid for the unit. Your gate code works 24/7!
Do I have to sign a lease?
No, but a signed monthly Rental Agreement is required. All rentals are month-to-month. We pro-rate the first month and ask that you alert us the last month you will be there.
What do I need to rent a unit?
Driver’s license or government-issued photo ID, a lock, and first month's pro-rated payment by credit or debit card. We accept the following forms of payment after the first month: check, cash, money order, ACH bank debit, MasterCard, Visa, AMEX and Discover.
What if I’m not sure what size space I need?
No problem. We will be happy to show you around the property and let you see a number of unit sizes. Seeing units in person is the best way to decide which size is best for you. We many times can do this remotely over the phone.
Do I need a lock?
Yes. You must provide/purchase your own lock and you keep the only key(s). We strongly recommend a high-security lock, such as a disc lock. Remember, the lock on your unit provides the last line of defense against an intruder; the better the lock, the better your defense.
